Can I start by saying this is a beautifully written book. Insightful and such an enjoyable read while giving you as the reader and business owner, clear and concise methods to grow your business and to cover all the details that you need for working on your business as well as in your business. Both as a business women myself and also having a cohort of learning traits (which is my business, working with people from all walks of life), this book will be one that will be dog eared and shared with many of the organisations and business I work with. Reading is not something dyslexics like to do, but this book is written in such a way that it's a pleasure to read and understand. Wes, thank you for your knowledge and talents within the 190 pages.

The Simple Manifesto is a great read. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to develop some marketing skills without submerging themselves in the fog of formal education. The book covers all the principles you need to know, starting from the very beginning – who are you and what is your business intended to achieve? We’re all time poor now, so there’s nothing worse than having to read an entire book before you can start using what you’ve learnt. This book is different. It’s written in a logical and easy-to-read format so you can read a chapter, and pick up ideas and strategies you can immediately apply. If you’re looking for a guide that will help you plan your marketing and save time as you do it, this is the book for you. Get your hands on a copy, do what it says and you’ll start seeing results in no time.

This book is a must read for every entrepreneur wanting to take their work to the next level. If you implement just a single idea out of Wes’s book, your efforts will be rewarded far beyond expectations. Wes has managed to distil the essence from lessons that may be learned ‘the hard way’ over a decade of struggling to build up a business into a concise and easy to read book. Highly recommended.

Wes has both breadth and depth of knowledge in design and technology that his clients can trust. The Simple Manifesto contains all the components a small business owner needs to establish and develop effective business brand communications. It is a straightforward 'how to' guide and a valuable addition to the information I share with my small business clients in helping them express their personal brand in their business communications from a technological perspective. If I had written a second personal branding book specifically for small business owners following on from Buy Me, Hire Me, Promote Me,  this would have been it. Thanks to Wes its done! Simple!

In all honesty the question – do we need another marketing book did initially enter my mind... I must say I was pleasantly surprised by what was to come... after finishing the introduction I was blown away, enthralled, speechless... I literally had to get up and walk off the excitement so I could settle and read on. The promise that Wes could actually deliver authentic leadership within this space drove me forward. I digested the first few chapters in what seemed like a blur, with no time frame driving me but my own desire to read on, I raced ahead devouring the valuable knowledge. Wes has chosen to share his insights in not only a great looking book that's easy to find your way around, but one that's a pleasure to pick up, read, and refer back to. He addresses many of the major concerns a startup business venture will need to overcome to get ahead, and make their dream a reality. I love the opening question _ "What if the business Gurus are wrong?", this is a question more people need to entertain, before throwing their hard earned cash at the next 'sure thing'. Wes asks all the questions anyone going into business should seriously be asking themselves, and it feels like he's standing by your side the whole way through. I've been around and seen a lot of gurus and marketing in my time some great and not so great and many providing strategies that just were not feasible, credible and designed to fill their pockets. In short, I loved The Simple Manifesto! It's not just another marketing book but a power packed gem, full of provocative coaching questions to help you get clear, and real life examples which will keep you grounded in the real world, whilst navigating your way through the entrepreneurial space. I will be keeping the manifesto close at hand and am very happy to recommend this book to family and friends. Thank you Wes.
